What if we stopped… and restarted?
For too long, the global economy has run on exhaustion: of resources, of people, of time. It has been shaped by accumulation without limits, progress without pause, and growth without soul. But the Jubilee Year 2025 — together with the 800th anniversary of the Canticle of the Creatures — offers us a unique moment: to pause, reflect, and begin again.
Restarting the Economy is not just a slogan. It’s a choice. A call to rethink today’s economy through the lens of the biblical Jubilee — a time for liberation, restoration, and rest. The Jubilee reminds us that the Earth must be allowed to breathe, that people must be freed from exploitation and debt, and that the logic of endless accumulation must give way to justice, care, and renewal.
That’s why our logo places emphasis on rest — because without rest, there is no restart. And it highlights arting — the creative spark needed to imagine new structures, new policies, new ways of living and working together. The stylized loading bar says it clearly: it’s time to reboot the system. Together.
From November 28 to 30, in Castel Gandolfo (Rome) – Italy, we will gather for the EoF Global Event 2025, an international meeting of young economists, researchers, entrepreneurs, and changemakers from all continents. We will engage in dialogue, build proposals, share visions, and commit to action — for an economy of life that is just, inclusive, and sustainable.
The program will feature renowned speakers such as Jennifer Nedelsky, Paolo Benanti, Yvan Sagnet, Jeffrey Sachs, Alessandra Smerilli, Massimo Mercati, and Stefano Zamagni, and will include plenaries, workshops, pitches, youth-led sessions, spiritual reflection, and community-building activities.
Join us in shaping a new rhythm for the economy — one that values people over profits, time over haste, and justice over exploitation.
