Register today to join the Franciscan Sisters and one of their most popular speakers, plant ally Jean Ponzi of the Missouri Botanical Gardens, on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 6:30 in the evening.
The first Franciscans For Earth Eco-Series Event of 2024 will take place in the Assisi Room at Tau Center in Kirkwood, MO.
Gather with St Louis community members as the Sisters welcome Jean and her live presentation of “Climate Change–Culture Change.” Jean will explain how facts, myths, and opportunities related to Earth’s climate and our species include key concepts of weather and climate, greenhouse gases, carbon footprints, and policy options. She will share how perspective on human patterns of environmental and social impacts can show paths to just, responsible action, and she has many local examples that offer courage to engage and persist in change-making. Discussion will follow.
