More than one in seven patients in the United States is cared for in a Catholic hospital, creating priceless opportunities to share the healing love of our Savior. The Catholic Health Association of the United States supports the healthcare facilities that care for these patients, helping them embrace a holistic vision of healing that goes beyond providing high-quality medical care to caring for people and communities in mind, body, and spirit.

The Catholic Health Association of the United States serves 600 hospitals and over 1,600 other healthcare centers, and is partner in the development of the Laudato Si’ Action Platform. Its perspective about the needs and experiences of healthcare providers in the U.S. enriches the development of the platform as a whole.

The video above (in English) tells beautifully moving stories about how the Catholic Health Association of the United States and its members are bringing Catholic teaching on creation to the work they do.

You are warmly welcomed to discern your own calling to participate in this movement. Use the resources on the Laudato Si’ Action Platform to learn more.
