From September 1 to October 4, the global Christian family will come together to pray, reflect, and act for our common home during the Season of Creation. For all of us on the Laudato Si’ Action Platform, this is not just a moment to join a worldwide celebration. It’s a chance to deepen our commitment and take concrete steps in our own Laudato Si’ journeys.

Why This Matters for LSAP Participants
The Season of Creation is a natural moment to:
- Integrate creation-centered prayer into your community’s life
- Take visible ecological action that can be part of your Laudato Si’ Plan
- Connect your local efforts with a global movement for justice and peace
This year’s theme, Peace with Creation, is inspired by Isaiah 32:14-18, which paints a sobering picture of a creation stripped of peace because of human injustice and broken relationships with the Creator. Yet Isaiah also offers hope: peace can be restored when justice returns.
Hope in the biblical sense means action: acting with unity, repentance, and solidarity.

As Pope Leo XIV says in his Message for the 10th World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation 2025:
“These words of the prophet will accompany the ‘Season of Creation,’ an ecumenical initiative to be celebrated from 1 September to 4 October 2025. They remind us that, together with prayer, determination and concrete actions are necessary if this ‘caress of God’ is to become visible to our world” (cf. Laudato Si’, 84).
