Seeds of Hope prayer service

Join the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help for a prayer service in Kirkwood Park on Wednesday, May 22 at 6:30 pm. During Laudato Si’ Week (May 19 -26) we celebrate Seeds of Hope as we commemorate the ninth anniversary of Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’.

We will gather at Walker Lake Parking lot and proceed to Walker Lake together. Enter Kirkwood Park from Geyer Road or Monroe Avenue for easiest access. See the red star on the map for our intended gathering location. The area we will be using is wheelchair accessible and only a short distance from the parking lot.

The prayer service begins at 6:30, but we ask everyone to plan to arrive by 6:20 in case there are difficulties finding our group. We do ask that you please sign up with all contact information, so that we can text you easily in case of inclement weather. This also allows us to send you an email reminder one day and one hour before the event.
